Her Style: A coat for an ice storm I've never seen before.

Old Navy -  Solid Blanket Coat    // Target -  Similar Ankle Booties  / / New York and Company - Similar T-Shirt Dress There's a severe weather advisory in Tennessee for ice. Lots and lots of ice. Man, they weren't kidding! It's perfect weather for my "very Mary Tyler Moore" coat. I actually fell in love with this coat when I saw Kendi from Kend Everday wearing it. I had been eyeing for awhile on the Old Navy website, and I finally decided to buy it on Black Friday when it was 50% off!

Her Style: days that remind me I'm a college kid.

If you went to university, you know exactly what I'm talking about. There are those days (most days) where all of your professors expect too much of you, so your schedule is perfectly imbalanced. As it should be as a student, I suppose. I don't really believe in going to class in pajamas when you just can't get up in the mornings. It's just not my thing. But, I do have those days with no make up, hair-unwashed-in-a-ponytail, and I just throw something on so I'm not late for my class that starts in 20 minutes. Here's a quick-n-easy outfit for those "I spent all night studying and I'm running on two hours of sleep" days.

Vintage Ray-Bans - Clothes Mentor // Top & Necklace - Forever 21 // Pants - Gap // Shoes - Jeffrey Campbell First of all, forgive my chipped toe nail polish. No matter how much free time I have, I will never keep up with painting my nails. I've just never been able to do it. An update of my job: I've been working at a gently used clothing store called Clothes Mentor for almost a year now. I need to tell you how much I love it. SO have you ever heard of Plato's Closet? It's really similar, but Clothes Mentor is for women ages 20-55 where they can sell their gently used name brand clothes. A lady brought in these vintage ray-bans to sell, and I just HAD to have them.

her style: the ocean sea in on me.

Top - Forever 21 // Jean Leggings - Express // Wedges - Target // Watch - Fossil I'm loving this color block trend that has been hitting stores. If you know me, I'm not one for flashy fashion. I generally only wear one piece of jewelry at a time, aside from my earrings. So it's either my watch, or a necklace, or a bracelet, but not all at once. It's never really been my thing. I feel like color block tee's are a great way to add some spice and attention to your outfit without being like, LOOK AT ME, LOOK AT MY FLASHY STUFF! Ya'know what I mean? I could get used to this relaxed thing. Not having to get up for school, going into work around 10 or 12 and getting out around 3 or 4. SLEEPING IN! It has been great! Truthfully, I haven't had a relaxed summer since I was a sophomore in high school. However, I seem to remember that summer being the most boring summer ever. I suppose now that I'm older free time is such a rare thing now, I consider it p...

her style: I need a breeze.

Top - Thrift // Jeans - Express // Shoes - Modcloth // Neckalce & Purse - Forever 21 I'll be wearing lots of flowy, light shirts this summer, because I feel like Tennessee's weather goes from extremely cold to extremely hot in a matter of about two weeks. I want to feel the breeze in this humid place. We seem to have a really short in-between period of just beautiful weather that is bearable. But, I'm really not complaining about this warm weather, because I'll spending most of my summer days by the pool and working on crafty projects (Which I am sooo excited about, because I never have to to do such things when college is in session).  If you would like to sponsor my blog for free, use the code FREE for a small ad! her style: it's really, really cold in tennnessee.

1 , 2 , 3 , 4 The weather has been soooo crazy in Tennessee the last week or so. It will go from 70 degrees to 14  and snowy the next day. Crazy! Walking around on campus is miserable when it is so cold and super windy. Lots of layers is the key to keeping warm. And, if your a college student, you know waterproof shoes are a lifesaver! I love, love, love my L.L. Bean boots. Ashley

As of now, I am super busy with school and work. I am enjoying the cooler weather, and I love spending the small amounts of free time I have snuggled next to Daniel. If you had an infinite amount of time, what would you do with it? Ashley

her style: it's sweater weather.

jumper, legging, ballet flats - Forever 21 watch, gold bracelets- Thrifty find Vintage Dooney and Burke purse - This Etsy Shop  It is almost sweater weather in Tennessee! This week isn't supposed to get over 80, with most days being around 70. I'm cold natured, so a knit jumper is perfect for me. I started a second job at a resale store for women a few weeks ago. You may find this surprising, but I dislike shopping. I love fashion and clothes. Shoes, dresses, purses, you name it! But, I don't find enjoyment out of walking around a mall for hours just browsing. I'm a huge online shopper. Anyways, I feel like all the cutest clothes come right to me since I have been working at the new job! Women bring in their new/gently used name brand clothing items, and we buy and resell them.  I LOVE it! I have a feeling most of my wardrobe will come from my new job. Ha! Ashley
