little lion man.

I'll tell you what, this has been one of the best weeks of my life! Spending time with the family has just been the cherry on top. We spent our day in Nashville yesterday soaking up the sun at Nashville Shores. Whomever thought of amusement parks/water parks hats off to you, because they a one of my favorite kinds of entertainment!

Today is the two year anniversary of the passing of my sweet friend, Taylor. She would have been 16 on June 5th this year. Oh, how I miss her rambunctious energy! You can read about her story here.

When grandma comes to town, it means yummy food! I don't know about you, but eating is probably one of my favorite things to do.

This week has been absolutely wonderful! I started it off by taking the day off of work to pick Meme up from the airport. I got to spend time with my father and Nana (dad's mom). I graduated high school! I went to dinner with a my wonderful friend, Daniel. And, made delicious foods with Meme.

i are a gradiat3

So this is it, I am officially a high school graduate, and it never felt so good! I can't think of a better way to spend it than with my family and friends!

oh! the joys of being with grandmother.

My grandmother is one of my most favorite persons in this world! Her arrival makes this whole graduation thing a little more realistic.

uhm, what?

What?! I'm a high school graduate? (Well, almost!) Yesterday was my last official day of high school. The very thought of me graduating seems so surreal. I was a freshmen yesterday, what happened to sophomore and junior year?

I graduate on the 26th, and I am sooooo excited, because my family is coming in from North Carolina. I have so many plans for this summer. Just in the last few weeks I have made new friends, made exciting plans, and I am just going to make the most of my last summer as a "child" before the real life sets in.

Have a wonderful weekend! I know I will. :D

laser tag!

This weekend was one of the best I have had in a long time! My friends Miranda, Allison, Sierra, and a foreign exchange student from Japan, Kentaro, went laser tagging in Nashville. It was hot, it was sweaty, it glowed in the dark, and it was so much fun!
