recipe: apple pie tarts

What you need:
2 boxes of Pillsbury Pie Crusts
3 large apples
3/4 cups of sugar
2 teaspoons of cinnamon
6 tablespoons of flour
2 tablespoons of butter

Makes: 24 Tarts

Preheat your oven to 425 degrees.

Step 1: Using a cookie cutter, cut an even number of small circular crusts.  Place half of the cuts an inch or so apart on a cookie sheet or stone for the bottom of the tarts. Set aside the other half for the tops to use later.

Step 2: Peel your apples, and chop them into small pieces.

Step 3: Combine the chopped apples, sugar, cinnamon, flour, and butter into a mixing bowl. (Use hands to mix ingredients.)

Step 4: Place a spoonful of filling on the bottom cuts.

Step 5: Place tops on. Using a fork, mash the two cuts together.

Step 6: Cuts small slits on the top of the tarts.

Step 7: Cook 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.

Bon appetit!
