Merry Christmas!

Image
I hope you had a very merry Christmas! I am thankful for God's loving mercy, grace, and wrath, and the reason we celebrate Christmas!

a date with my love.

Image
School is over for the semester, and the holidays have finally come. That being said, Daniel goes home for a month for Christmas break. I will miss him ever so much! As a Christmas gift, Daniel took me on a date one last time before he left to go home for Christmas break. We had dinner and walked through the downtown Christmas lights. The cold on my face is a refeshing feeling and somewhat prickily against my warmth-loving skin. Although this year has been sort of warmer than usual, it doesn't change the fact the it's still Christmas.

(In order from left to right) 1. Mary Blair 2.Kelly Murray 3.Gyo Fujikawa 4.Eleanor Campbell   5. I love the flatness of Mary Blair's style, and the beautful colors on the cheeks of children at play of Eleanor Campbell and Norman Rockwell's illustrations. My favorite modern take it Kelly Murray and Emily Winfield Martin's vintage styles.

Daniel and I are going to London in March! I am going with an Art Appreciation class, and he will be going with a World Literature class, but we will be traveling as one large group. We are so very excited! To add to our excitement, Miranda made this comic for me. And, I think it is simply hilarious! Ha!
